Monday 11/15
You are working with a partner, right?
got to: http://compasslearningodyssey.com/
When you get there, you need to login as the younger of the two partners.
Your "login" should be the same as your citrix login. (mskeet, mmontanez, elynch, andersonskeets, etc. etc.)
Your password is......x! Yep just a lowercase x
Then in the School section you need to type: Rehoboth (use a capital R--not sure if it matter though...)
Okey Dokey. Now, you should get a screen that contains language Arts and Math assignments. Click Math!
When you open "Math" you should see a bunch of folders. Choose the one that says "Algebra."
I think that at this point you have to open it again, then you should see a bunch of assignments.
Choose any of the them and work on it until it tells you that you are done.
When you finish an assignment, log out, go back to : http://compasslearningodyssey.com/
and login as the other partner and do the same. The assignments will not be the same (at least I don't think they will be!!)
When you finish, logout and login as the first partner. Get it? I hope so! See you tomorrow!
P.S. Please help the sub pack up the laptops!

for TUESDAY 8/31!!!
This site: http://www.coolmath.com/prealgebra/08-signed-numbers-integers/index.html
has a great explanation of doing math with integers (or "signed numbers").
Your job is to read each step very carefully and then put the main point of each lesson into
your own words on the sheet of paper I've given to you. Don't fly through this--the idea is
to understand--not to be the first one done. I will be walking around looking at the notes you've
written, so make them good.

If you don't get an 80% on quiz 1, go to quiz 2 and try again, then quiz 3, etc., etc. For each quiz, use the handout that
I'll give you to do the "scratching" for each problem.
When you are finished, please work on the puzzles at: http://www.coolmath4kids.com/math_puzzles/index.html
Try them all--see which ones you can solve. Don't give up!
